Anyway, got tagged by teh Hiccu, so...

1. I never had games consoles, growing up. Closest we had was an Atari ST. *g*

2. I used to be Wiccan, during my teens. It still, in many ways, influences my faith. I've also recently taken a liking to the concept of a universal life-force, which explains very nicely the concept of the divine being in all things in this world. As God is love, then it's only right to love those around us, and the world, for you are then honouring the divine. *Gets metaphysical*

3. When I was in my teens, my boyfriend at the time, William, got me into Sailor Moon. It's an interest that's stuck. I'm not majorly active in the BSSM/PGSM fandoms, but that's okay with me, because I hate what's happened in other fandoms I have been member of (i.e., they've fallen apart and been overdramatic about the stupidest things, which kinda ruined the fan experience). I kind of view Usagi-Chan and the others as being like "contemporaries", friends to whom I return now and then for some banter and encouragement. Something I've always liked about it is the concept of transforming being kinda like finding your inner strength and breaking through problems to fight for a solution.

4. I have no time for gossip. I look very sternly on those who gossip about friends, particularly when it's baseless whining and selfishness.

5. I hate being in noisy environments. There's something about it just makes me unhappy and nervous. It used to be worse, but it's gotten better over time. I still hate it, though.

6. When I was in highschool, I had a stint where I was learning oboe. Sadly, it used to make me really headachey, and I was bad at it. That and the teasing about it lead me to drop it. xD

7. Everything I learned about US Politics, I learned from The West Wing. *g*

8. Onigiri are goooooooood.
